About Dixy Crafts

I am a mom of two who learned how to sew in 2019. I wanted to have decorative pillows for my living room but I wanted to be able to change the pillow covers often so I started sewing my pillow covers. Once my friends noticed my many different pillow styles, they wanted me to make it for them also, and that is how the story with the pillow covers started!

After I became a mom and my son started growing out of his baby clothes, I wanted to find a way to incorporate his baby clothes so that they are not just sitting in a plastic box under my staircase. That is when I started making Memory Bears, the first one was for my son, and the rest is history :) Handmade by me in Darien, IL
